African Studies Association (ASA) 2023: Exploring Africas Past, Present, and Future
The African Studies Association (ASA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study of Africa. Founded in 1957, ASA has over 3,000 members worldwide and is the premier scholarly association in the field.
The ASA Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of Africanists in the world. In 2023, the ASA Annual Meeting will be held in Dakar, Senegal, from June 25-30. The theme of the meeting is "Africas Past, Present, and Future: Directions for Research and Policy."
